Triple Triangle Trinity Meditations
In this new series of classes we are practising combinations of of Kundalini Yoga meditations in order to further explore unique and specific experiences of our body, energy, psyche, spirit and self. In each session we address, in balanced measure, always three aspects of our being. Throughout the series we use varieties of physical postures, pranayama, mudra, sometimes movement and chanting in different combinations with devotion, intention and focus.
#347 Pittra Kriya - Honouring the Ancestors
We practise Pittra Kriya, a three part kriya meditation named for our ancestors, giving us a trinity approach for glandular system, nervous system and chakra balance.
The first part will take care of our glandular system, balancing the energies of kidneys, adrenals and liver by way of moving the right arm and shoulder. It will relax us mentally and physically. The second part will balance the chakras by stimulating hypothalamus and pituitary gland via the tongue meridians chanting “har” and working the Saturn energy with our fingers. It heightens our psychic energy and balances and revitalises spinal fluid and brain. The third part brings sympathetic-parasympathetic balance to the nervous system, again by rhythmic arm movement and chanting.
This is a special opportunity to practise this powerful series from one of the Kundalini Level 2 courses. Meditate with me!

#349 Human Quality, Nervous Energy Balance & Celestial Communication
After few invigorating, expanding and de-stressing exercises, we start with stimulating the creative powers of the heart chakra for our human compassion, devotion, kindness, endurance and intention. We go on to balance the energies of nervous and glandular systems – sympathetic, parasympathetic and enteric nerves at the tipping point of the neutralised ego self. We end with a gentle, elevating celestial communication, chanting our mantra “Ek Ong Kaar Sat Naam Siri Waheguru” with a dance of mudras. Come and join!

#351 Psychic Sophistication, the Original Self & Surrender to the Divine
Clarity consists in the great insight that we know almost nothing, that we are powerless in the essential, but that we must never lose faith in light and spirit and that we always must strive to give our best. All meditation exercise shall be in pursuit of this reference.
Today we continue our Triple Triangle Trinity Meditations with a hypnotic mudra dance under strong concentration to stimulate the pituitary gland and sophisticate the works of our psyche, a powerful three-part pranayama to experience the original Self, and, finally, a simple mantra chant that balances our energy into alert stillness which allows us to surrender into Divine Infinite. We pray for the ability to let go of the attachment to live life on our own terms and experience the bliss of giving everything unconditionally in the will of the Beautiful Creator Origin Love. By becoming nothing, we become EVERYTHING. Come and join me!

#353 Physical, Mental & Spiritual Healing, Chakra Rhythm Immune Wakeup & Past Emotional Stress Relief
After some stretches and invigorating moves we start with a multiple healing and detox meditation that establishes control within the central nervous system. It is purifying and clears the pathways for our intuition. Our second meditation is the Breath of Ten, a magnetic energy therapy that creates and uses energetic connection between the palms of our hands. It synchronises the rhythms of all chakras and activates the pituitary gland to drive the immune system.
We finish with a slow breathing pranayama to bring relief to stressful emotions from relationships and past family issues. By gently suspending the breath we integrate the correct functioning of body and mind and gradually recondition the nervous system towards relaxation, peace and control. It comes in time with relaxed, conscious practice.
“Any time you do not have the answer for something, inhale deeply and hold the breath in. The moment you hold the breath in, the body will automatically computerize to survive, and your question is heard within. It will give you the answer. The breath of life is life itself and everything is a facet of life, there is nothing beyond that.” – Praana Praanee Praanayam

#355 Opening the Higher Centres, Brain Coordination & Finding Ecstasy
We start with a two-part meditation to open the higher energy centres by stimulating thyroid and parathyroid glands, increasing the flow of energy, connection and bodily fluids to and from the head. In a second part to this we connect that energy for healing compassion to the heart and healing touch to the palms of the hands. This will clear our mind and improve our ability to concentrate.
Our second meditation is a deep breathing pranayama to coordinate and balance the various areas and functional units of the brain by an alternate breathing pattern through nose and mouth. The solar-lunar prana qualities stimulated by breathing either through nose or mouth combine, complement and balance our entire energy, nervous, emotional and mental bodies.
We finish with another “mudra dance,” a gentle but evocative repetitive movement of the hands with music and chanting to connect to the ultimate higher power within us, to guide our lives, fill our hearts and minds, and open our love for existence in the white fire of spirit and the beauty of life on the planet. Satnam Waheguru!

#357 Fight Fatigue, Balance Mental Energies & Heal the Wounds of the Heart
After some recreational stretches and moves, we start our meditations with segmented breathing to fight fatigue, improve the blood supply to the brain, balance the diaphragm, support liver, spleen and lymphatic system, and move the serum of the spine. Segmented breathing brings a gentle rhythm and structure to the prana communicating into our bodies, physical, mental and emotional. This can help to get the prana deeper into systems, units and cells, in a slightly different quality than ordinary, long and deep breathing.
We continue with a mixture of long and deep one-stroke breathing and segmented breathing in an alternate nostril pattern in order to balance our mental energies. We can think of the categories of mental energies along the lines of our mental bodies: negative (protective, eliminative), positive (opportunity and joy seeking) and neutral (decision making). If these three mental modes within this simplified model can cooperate complementary and well balanced, we have a good foundation for our mental health and efficiency.
Breaks or losses of relationships can have effects on the nervous system similar to those caused by physical hurt or loss of body parts. With our last meditation we make a step towards healing these wounds of the heart applying a mudra which stimulates the heart meridian in order to invoke the autonomic nervous system to calm down, reset and begin to heal the symptoms of loss and emotional pain.

#359 The Lower Triangle, Cleansing the Meridians & Chanting of Divine Ecstasy
Our first meditation addresses the triangle of the lower chakras, the lower back and spine, kidneys and adrenals and the water element. Posture and mudra stimulate self-regulation and healing forces to alleviate problems in that area, especially caused by long-term stress. We also dedicate this exercise to the ending of the Winter season and the beginning of a new cycle heralded by the cleansing fasts of Lent and Ramadan.
We initiate and support the cleansing by a simple version of Nadi Shodhana, the purification of the energy channels (meridians). “Nadi Shodhana ensures that the whole body is nourished by an extra supply of oxygen, carbon dioxide is efficiently expelled and the blood is purified of toxins. The brain centres are stimulated to work closer to their optimum capacity. Nadi Shodhana induces tranquillity, clarity of thought and concentration. It increases vitality and lowers levels of stress and anxiety by harmonising the pranas.” – Swami Satyananda
We conclude by chanting a variation of the gurmantra sitting in warrior posture. The gurmantra, “Waheguru,” is the mantra of the infinity of ecstasy and dwelling in God. It expresses the indescribable experience of going from darkness to light, from ignorance to realisation. It is the Infinite teacher of the soul, the bridge over the world ocean, the cutting through the veil of illusion, the unlocking of destiny. “Waheguru Waheguru Waheguru Wahe Jio, Oh my Soul, God is.”
There was talk among some devotees about a Christ Meridian Point or a Sattvica Buddha Bindu on the upper palate, which can be stimulated by the interplay of the sun of the tongue and the moon of the lips knowing the essence of the mantra. It soothes the wounds of life with the bliss of knowing God.

#361 Build Your Healing Force, Bind Elements to Neutrality & Melt Negativity
In our first meditation we allow the physical flow of energy in the body to activate our inherent healing forces. By holding the posture still and steady it induces a flow of healing via gentle pressure on the nervous system facilitated by slow, long and deep breathing and by listening to the mool mantra, the formula of origin.
We continue in the middle part with Bandhana Kriya, the kriya of locking or binding the forces of opposition and sensual challenge into a neutral point in the centre of all things. The lock is created by a mudra of pressing the palms together at the heart centre. Again, the process is driven by a combination of breathing, holding and mantra rhythm. We can get clarity in our destiny and access to fulfilment by a process that is stilling the disturbances of the whirling forces – represented by sun, moon, and the five elements – swaying and tempting our lives continuously if not channelled and utilised purposefully.
We finalise our session with a prayer to melt negativity, chanting “Aap Sahaa-ee Hoaa Sache Daa Sachaa Dhoaa, Har Har Har” in a physically easy but energetically meaningful and powerful mudra. We use our word and ability to connect to higher forces of light that can subdue and transform the forces of negativity, resistance and darkness.
Like for all our meditations, if you want to experience their full effect, you are welcome to embrace a daily practice of one and the same meditation for 11, 31 or 62 minutes for a minimum of 40 days without interruption. Don’t hesitate to contact me for details.

#365 Pituitary Intuition Stimulation, Calming the Mind & Lotus Prosperity Victory Prayer
We start with a stimulation of the pituitary gland, balancing and strengthening Ajna chakra, the command centre for all action in duality and it’s last merging point. We then slow down the breath in a mudra pranayama to calm the mind’s activity, gain strength of heart and clarity in mind and intuition. We conclude with a lotus prayer for prosperity and victory.
The idea behind this sequence is a preparation and invocation of inner and outer forces for the process generally considered in yogic and mystic terms as the purpose of life. Although this may be partly symbolical, it can transform and strengthen our agency to pursue this purpose in our lives with more consciousness.
The game of life: The forces of the world, ministered through the senses, are calling, tempting and demanding our vital energies for their own needs and ends. We are asked to “buy in” to the ideas, goods and customs of the world, society and culture we find ourselves living in. As we all know too well, this is exhausting, frustrating and ultimately soul-destroying.
The process of Patanjali’s astanga yoga (the eight-fold way) comes to a crucial moment in the 5th step, called Pratyahara, usually understood as a withdrawal of the senses, where, after having undergone the preparation of the preceding four steps, we are in a better position to gain control and stop the loss and death of prana of our sense-dictated actions, become detached, and enter a kind of “dark night of the senses” to be liberated from the slavery of our appetites and desires.
We ultimately strive for a state in which we are not losing our essence to the forces of Maya any more, but connect, invest and live on the forces of the Spirit (Satnam) exclusively. We live in the world, but we are not not from it. We are “dead while alive” (jivat mare), dead to the exploitation of our essence by the forces of the world while still physically alive and living in the world.
We move on from enjoying the gifts of the Divine, consumed by the ego and costing karma, to the Divine Itself which is the true essence of our own being. This is the true meaning of prosperity and victory for us. There seems to be no real, lasting happiness without it.

#367 Enhance the Psyche, Stimulate Pituitary, Intuition and Projection & Generate Healing
Our first two meditations today both work via addressing the pituitary gland – strengthening our sense of intuition, projection, justice and balance between the material and the spirit world. The energetic body connected to the workings of the pituitary gland is the Arcline, a halo around our head. It reflects the efficiency of the pituitary in regulating nervous and glandular system and in connecting our solar and lunar aspects to awakened intuition.
The Arcline also represents the balance and connection between our worldly and spiritual realms as the bridge of prayer and meditation. Both, pituitary (third eye, Ajna) and Arcline, are ruled by the numerology of number six. The postures, breathing patterns and mantras in these meditations mediate and facilitate these effects and purposes – Sa Ta Na Ma. The first meditation will also increase the flow of prana through the crown chakra, the second meditation with strengthen the general agency and command we have over ourselves.
We conclude by training our Healing powers, sharpening our intentions to bring Healing to ourselves and the world. Energy and effect follow thought, attention and intention. Healing will increase if we strengthen our meditation skills and allow the natural light of love and compassion to flow through clarity – Ra Ma Da Sa.

#369 Release Stress Energy, Polarity Sensitivity in Dialogue & Easy Yoga
There are many aspects to successful and elevating communication. Most of them need practise and some need trained and sustained awareness. What is the purpose of our communication? Are we aware of our own potentially hidden agendas? What is the interlocutor’s purpose of the communication? What is happening inside our mind and emotion while the communication is happening? How much aware are we of that in the moment? Can we keep inner silence? Are we really ready to receive and listen to the other? Are we processing the other’s message, tone and body language consciously? How honest are we? How honest can we be? Where do the words come from? Where are they received? Who is listening?
After our usual preliminary stretches and moves, we use our first meditation pranayama to release all symptoms of stress from our system and have our energy strong and neutral.
With our second meditation we make ourselves aware of the subtle and delicate nature of the communication situation. There are two, us and the other, the space in between, the many levels and layers on both sides. Everything is communication. Our approach is diagonal. We express the totality between outside and inside by alternating the mantra between loud and whisper – “WA HE GURU wa he guru.”
Our third meditation gives us space and stillness to let come, let be and let go. The easy path, Sahej Yoga, refers to the space in between our own effort and the Grace of the Cause of Existence. There is a moment where there is nothing we can “do” but be. Although the exercise still demands breath control, mantra concentration and light visualisation, we are aware of the space beyond that, where we are ready to be met, taken and transformed by the One within and without closer to ourselves than we ever are, deeper ourselves than we ever feel, the Self of the self. Nobody can surely tell what happens after that…

#373 Prevent Disease Pranayama, Rooting the Crown Chakra & Laya Yoga Spin
In this episode of our popular Triple Triangle Trinity meditation series, we start with a two-part pranayama for general good health maintenance, addressing and activating the two complementary energy channels separately, one at a time. Breathing through the left nostril, the channel Ida activates the female, lunar energy quality, ruling the left body side and the right hemisphere of the brain; breathing through the right nostril, the channel Pingala activates the male, solar energy quality, ruling the right body side and the left hemisphere.
In our second meditation we use physical alignment, mantra, concentration and some navel movement to connect the impulse of inspiration through the crown chakra into the body, explicitly into the energy foundation and core centre of the navel. Our primal, original inspirations need to meet with our earthly will power and positive mind to manifest tangibly into the world through attracting resources in a creative process. We listen with our third ear, we see with our third eye what is beyond the senses. Our inner sound current transforms this into worldly action and production, service and contribution. The more pure we are, the less interference from our traumatised subconsciousness, the more powerful and impactful we can be.
We further develop this idea in our last meditation, the Laya Yoga, which uses the same mantra as the Long Ek Ong Kaar meditation with a similar process of raising Kundalini energy in a slightly more rhythmic way. The human journey seems to be always somewhere half-up or half-down the mountain – between root and crown chakra – dealing with some obstacle or challenge to transport our consciousness to the next level. All subtlety has to be manifested in the elements of the core and lowest level of existence, and all material and sensual experience has to transcend and serve the highest spirit.
The Aquarian Teacher: “The Laya Yoga chant brings presence to your soul and destiny. It lets your activity serve your purpose, by connecting you with creativity and focusing your attention toward your true priorities. The mantra encourages you to remember and experience the link between you and the Creator, and it awakens the kundalini force that is the energy of creation.
“Use this kriya to strive for progress and expansion, and feel that the Infinite will and your will act together in harmony. Strong actions combined with non-attachment make life a dance with much creativity and gratitude.
“This mantra takes you to the most subtle realm of creativity. It awakens the kundalini force that energizes the whole Creation. It awakens your awareness and empowers the sense of the Subtle Body of the Aura. The practice of the meditation gives intuition and the ability to heal.”

#375 Health Energy Radiance Pranayama, Calming the Heart & Liberating the Throat
Our first meditation is a pranayama exercise based on segmented breath and some gentle hyperventilation. Yoga and related therapeutic methods have devised many breathwork technologies with a range of different applications and effects. Some of the more intense ones (e.g. traditional Rebirthing and Holotropic breathing) are to be practised only under professional supervision; they are not without contraindications and sometimes contested from within the conventional medical and psychiatric academia.
In our Kundalini Yoga classes, we follow a moderate, balanced and safe approach building up to a complete, relaxed and awakened state with sympathetic, parasympathetic and enteric nervous system in good, long-term balance. Some of the reported benefits of gentle hyperventilation are relaxation, stress relief, reduced chronic pain, support in addiction recovery and general trauma recovery, improved symptoms from conditions such as depression and avoidance behaviours, support of personal growth, increased positive outlook and self-awareness.
In our second meditation – again a pranayama, this time based on slow deep breathing and breath retention – we work at the heart as the centre and home of prana, the balance point for relationship, and the connection point between human nature and Divine Love. The heart muscle has rhythm and frequency moving lifeblood, karmic information and spirit essence through the body to the villages and cities of our organs and body parts, like the rhythms and frequencies in the game of sun and moon move life-giving water around the planet.
Sometimes we are torn between our human nature, our sense of self-will and responsibility on one hand, and the great force of Divine Will, ultimate Love in the incomprehensible greater picture on the other hand. We live in the ever-negotiating duality between our sense of self and multiplicity and the – somewhat lesser or more subtle – sense of destiny, connection and oneness. It is with a calm, strong and open heart that we can bridge this gap and enjoy the paradox of life on earth.
Our third meditation brings us one more step up from the heart to the throat, a centre of purification, expression, creativity and truth. Sitting in a variation of gyan mudra, the gesture of expansion, experience and opportunity, we chant a mantra in resonance with the 5th centre:
Satnam Satnam, Satnam Satnam, Satnam Satnam, Waheguru

#377 Communicate with Honesty, Open the Heart & Cross the Blue Gap
With our first meditation we resolve to look at and accept our totality in full honesty. We have parts to us we like, parts we don’t like, and parts we don’t even know about. Before we can be taken across to higher grounds, we have to collect all the parts of our fractured history and self, integrate our path and become whole. This process requires honesty in our internal communication with discarded parts of our self, neglected appreciation of things we have done, whether voluntarily or under undue pressure of trauma. We connect to the internal king Shiva and the internal queen Shakti, our internal parental polarities, and bring them in balance, correspondence, harmony and union: Sa-Re. This meditation lets you know where your heart is and what is in it.
We then continue the process by opening the heart centre for us to experience the full human spectrum of emotions necessary to process the above indicated integration, the flow of love and sorrow. The heart centre is a kind of balance point to be able to bear simultaneously the call of the spirit for transcendental union and the pain of the inability to follow this call since we cannot let go of the attachment to the ego and the ways of our wordly minds. The longing to belong finds us in dead ends and endless frustrations until we are finished enough in our sense of control and misunderstanding to understand that it is not up to us: Sat Kartar.
We complete our journey with the Blue Gap Meditation: We call on the Changed Ones to guide us through the darkness, fear and uncertainty when leaving behind the home of our familiar sense of self, certainty and entitlement, having to let go and give ourselves over to the Power that has always been the essence, substrate, sustenance and witness of our existence. The dark night of the soul, the purifying experiences of lostness and suffering, bring us to the end of our own resources. Staying there with sincerity and patience, holding on in meditation with our heart’s devotion and faith, we wait for the mysterious miracle that we cannot expect or understand ever.

#390 Learning from and Letting go of the Past, Facing the Future with Faith & Living in the Present
The connections between our past, present and future can be complex and inscrutable. They are the essential subject within concepts of karma, trauma, therapy, growth, self-development, fulfilment, progress, lineage, legacy, and determination versus free will. It is clear that we do not want to be stuck or live in the past, we do not want to live in fear or sabotage of the future, and we do not want to miss the mystery and beauty of this very moment.
Our meditations today deal with the challenge of using our past experiences for a better future, to not allow subconscious trauma responses to sabotage our future fulfilment, but to have our understanding and discrimination informed and enriched by our unique heritage and learning through joy and pain. A big part of this can be the letting go of resentments, regrets and mismatched expectations from the past. With all three meditations today, we are setting our intention through emotional and mental energy in that direction. The process initiated hereby shall enable us to have the right appreciation for the past, positive faith for the future, and the freedom of energy for full awareness in the present.

#388 Trinity Giants: Sat Kriya, Sodarshan Chakra Kriya & Kirtan Kriya
There are two kinds of senses of self, a very unhelpful one and a very essential one. There is a (false) sense of self which wants us to be the centre of everything, culminating in egotism, narcissism, competition and tyranny, leaving us ultimately exhausted and annihilated by the demands and forces of the ego world. And there is a sense of the (True) Self which, when activated and functional, transforms our existence in to efficiency, ease and fulfilment.
Usually we are spinning in the whirlwind of our five senses and the impressions, demands and temptation they put to us. We are reactive, consuming and being consumed, with little sense of responsible agency and reference that would give higher purpose to what is happening. Meditation at large is instilling in us a sense of being “deeper” inside of ourselves where there is stillness and serenity, much like in the eye of a hurricane.
Being a self-sensory human means that our sensory input is complete, high resolution on the full frequency spectrum, but processed instantly through the deepest, most essential core of our being, the True Self, connected to the biggest possible picture and providing the right action (or reticence) with the best possible outcome for everybody long-term. This process needs motivated training and awareness, but is effortless when it happens and leaves us with an enhanced sense of life and fulfilment.
We practice the three most celebrated exercises of Kundalini Yoga together: Sat Kriya, Sodarshan Chakra Kriya and Kirtan Kriya. They help us to cleanse the subconscious, rewire neuronal pathways and strengthen our nervous and glandular systems for best access and use of our instinct, intuition, inspiration and neutral mind through our True Self.
Spotlight on Sat Kriya: We contract and release the navel rhythmically with chanting Sat and Naam, concentrating on the 3rd and 6th chakra. This balances the instincts and impulses of the lower triangle of chakras of personal interest by connecting them energetically in repetitive rhythm with the expansion, intuition and inclusiveness of the higher triangle of chakras of trans-personal identity, truth and unity. It helps to relax phobias and neuroses driven by those lower impulses by bringing us into the perspective of our higher agencies that can release tensions and compulsions that otherwise haunt and drive us into unwanted and sabotaging action.
Sat Kriya is a complete exercise by itself. It strengthens the nervous system and balances our physical electricity and the fire element of the navel. It raises Kundalini energy and keeps the chakras in a healthy and balanced flow. It liberates us from the attachment to the feelings and forms of things and creates a strong foundation for the refined workings of the two following meditations.
Try to keep the posture straight but relaxed, try to move nothing much but the navel and the tongue, let the breath regulate itself, don’t think about it. If you feel your male/solar energies to be dominant, then interlace your fingers so that your right thump crosses over you left thumb, if you feel your female/lunar energies to be dominant, then cross the left over the right thumb. Otherwise, just interlace the mudra intuitively.
